An Asian fusion omnivorous restaurant near Tottenham Court Road

FSA food hygiene rating (2010-07-02): ★★★★★ (very good)

  • Good range of choices
  • Free green tea
  • Books can be hard to use
  • Staff sometimes don’t want to let you see The Books

Wagamama is a worldwide Asian fusion restaurant chain. They’re big noodle bars, basically; you sit on long benches, and your food is served as soon as it’s served. They can be noisy, but are one of the better chain restaurants out there.

Wagamama is fairly vegan-friendly; they have two books kept behind the till. One is a “nutritional info” guide, which tells you which dishes are naturally vegan. The other one is a “Dietary modification” guide, which tells you which ones are vegan-friendly if you leave a couple of ingredients out. Sadly, they don’t publish these guides on their website, though they do have a menu filter that will show you the few naturally-vegan items.

About Nopudding London

Nopudding London was built entirely by Alex Pounds. It's designed as a more geography-centric guide of places to eat. Most veggie listings start with a table of text, but I'm normally trying to answer the question "Where can I get a good meal near _____?". Textual listings aren't very good at that.

I am available for hire, and you should follow me on Twitter.

Why only London?

I'm only adding places I've visited, as I'm more interested in making personal recommendations than being comprehensive. There are some other places elsewhere in the world, too, if you go looking for them...
